Hi Michael,

The .ini file specifies the way gvSIG is started. Change it as Jorge 
suggested and then launch gvSIG as you usually do. You will see the 
console then.

A more generic way to edit the .ini file would be replacing
#JAVA#
by
#JAVA_HOME#\bin\java.exe

That would also make the trick.
