[Gvsig_english] gvsig 1.9 and georeferencing

OK, the decisive line is the first one:

   GNU C Library stable release version 2.3.2, by Roland McGrath et al.

This shows a relatively old libc version (the one on Ubuntu 7.10 is
2.6.1), for example.

Is there a way to update the libc version of the Debian distribution you
are using? If so, it would be worth a shot to do that and see if things
work afterwards. This way, we might be able to establish whether libc
is actually the culprit here.
