[Gvsig_english] [OSGeo-Discuss] HELP PLEASE - Does anyone know where I can get high resolution GIS data for use in tutorials?

Hi Simon,

I did something similar for a postgrad course using geoscience Australia
data and some from the ABS. The geoscience data is raster topo and the
vector data used to create the topo maps. It is not compete or particularly
accurate but was good for tutorials. You can get ABS data of LGAs and such
things. I'm sorry I don't have hyperlinks because it was a while ago but
found most of my stuff using Google search. I did use aerials.

Cheers
Colin
