Another good example of peculiar tools that could be removed from a toolbar is 'insert' polygon, rectangle, circle or eclipse, when editing a shapefile. How many people add regular shapes like a five sided polygon to their layers? Not many I suspect.<BR>

A good example is the multitude of selection tools - select by point, select by rectangle, select by polygon, select by line, select by circle, select by buffer, select by throwing a dog over your shoulder - these could be left in the menu and most except for a few core tools removed from the toolbar essentially simplifying the GUI and making it less cluttered.<BR>
