When zooming to the extent of a layer, the top-bottom or left-right sides are placed exactly at the first pixel and last in a view. <BR>
<BR>
It would be desirable for an arbitrary buffer to be incorporated, best specified in the preferences, so that the you see the desired layer and a bit of the surrounding vegetation.
