<P><FONT size=2>Hi all,<BR><BR>I have noticed that the EPSG database snapshot that ships<BR>with the current extCRS (gvSIG 1.9) is a little old.<BR>It contains some deprecated definitions and is lacking some<BR>useful new ones (e.g. 3857 for GoogleEarth like CRS).<BR><BR>So I would like to update the EPSG data. I have downloaded<BR>the current EPSG database (PostgreSQL code) from www.epsg.org.<BR><BR>Looking at extJCRS/config/db_epsg.script, I have the following<BR>questions:<BR><BR>1) When and by what Java class is this script run to create<BR>the HSQLDB with the EPSG data?<BR>2) Where is the HSQLDB database stored once gvSIG is runnning?<BR>In memory? In a file somewhere in the gvSIG installation folder?<BR>3) All identifiers (table names) etc. in db_epsg.script are<BR>UPPERCASE, whereas in the SQL statements from epsg.org they<BR>are all lowercase. I have read that HSQLDB implicitly converts<BR>all identifiers to uppercase.
