Hi Wolfang,

In fact I think the LD_PRELOAD don't work as well in this case. There are windows in gvSIG that I can't view using Compiz. Sorry for the noise.

Cheers,

Jordi.

Hi Wolfang,

I think I missunderstood you. Sorry but the export LD_PRELOAD didn't work for you. It is a coincidence that gvSIG opens the Project Manager correctly. The export LD_PRELOAD is for the people who have Mesa drivers and wants to work with compiz and gvSIG. You can remove the error message by unsetting the LD_PRELOAD variable (unset LD_PRELOAD).

Regarding to your problem I think you have experimented a skin related problem. It happens some times with default skin of gvSIG. This issue makes the windows appears whith random position inside gvSIG.

Cheers.
Dear Benjamin,
ok. but this did not change anything. after jordi's hint, gvsig-oade
started (but with a strange error message). Well, I have to test it
again. but not at the moment. Best
