Hi all,<br><br>thanks for the suggestion about JNI and .gvsig.platform.properties native_distribution property modification, Cesar, you were right of course!<br><br>I&#39;ve compiled JNI, etc. Everything&#39;s alright.<br>
<br>I&#39;ve got back to the point 11 of the
document[1] related to the initial configuration of a gvsig eclipse

It think that will probably work, unless the libgdal library version
had been upgraded in Ubuntu 10.04. For Ubuntu 9.10 we link against 
libgal1-1.5.0. If you have a 1.6.0 version or higher, you will be able
to compile and run gvSIG, but won&#39;t be able to open raster layers.<br>
