I have an Advent 4211c (MSI Wind) and the specs you listed below are the same on my netbook. <BR><BR>The gvSIG OAD 2010 Edition works fine, if a bit slow, but this edition is generally slower than 1.1.2 just is. <BR><BR>I have, however, had a couple of issues running the 2010 edition on a netbook with the small screen (and these problems do not exist with gvSIG 1.1.2): <BR>The properties box of any layer in the TOC is too large for the window. Labels cannot be
activated and other properties cannot be changed this way, as it is simply not possible to reach the "Apply" and "Okay"/"Accept" buttons. This sounds stupid, but is true. Not even holding "Alt" whilst trying to shift the properties window works - it just moves the main window.<BR>Changing of layer symbology is therefore best done through double-clicking the layer's sybol in the TOC. This problem also exists on Ubuntu.<BR>The same issue occurs when in the map/printing menu - the properties box for some items, such as frames/boxes is too large, which is a nuissance. <BR><BR>My way around the problem was to connect an external (largish) monitor and change the screen resolution. This - however - did not work in Ubuntu and should - if you're travelling - not be your only workaround!<BR><BR>All the analysis tools and Sextante, however, work fine, and I can, despite these screensize issues, recomment gvSIG OAD 2010 for netbooks!<BR><BR>Hope that
