When you press HOME the app just waits until you come back. We wanted
to provide the possibility to go to another place and then go back
to gvSIG Mini without having to terminate and restart the background
processes.

But, you are right and I think it's a bug. gvSIG Mini should do nothing
that consumes battery (mainly use the GPS) while in background.

Thank you

I see. By "exit button", you mean the back button, right? Good to
know, and it seems to work, but IMHO it's not very intuitive. I've
been using Android for quite some time, and no other app that I've
come across works like this: if I've finished with an app, I'm used to
pressing home to go somewhere else. Is it doing anything in particular
in the background when I press home? Or just waiting for me to go back
to it?

Thanks,
