<DIV><FONT face="Times New Roman" color=#000000 size=3>One of the tabs should be 'Software', that's the port you have to choose when you are inside gvSIG Mobile. Also, in the 'Access' tab, </FONT><FONT face="Times New Roman" color=#000000 size=3>activate the option 'Manage automatically'.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face="Times New Roman" color=#000000 size=3>Unfortunately, gvSIG Mobile has issues with the GPS when using phoneME VM on some Windows Mobile 6.5 devices (I think this is your case).</FONT></DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Times New Roman" color=#000000 size=3>If you still have issues, try the J9 version in your phone. These are the steps:</FONT></DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Times New Roman" color=#000000 size=3>- Uninstall gvSIG Mobile from:</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face="Times New Roman" color=#000000 size=3>Settings - System - Uninstall programs</FONT></DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Times New Roman" color=#000000 size=3>- Manually delete the folder \gvSIGMobile.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Times New Roman" color=#000000 size=3>- Install the J9 VM. The link to download it can be found in this message:</FONT></DIV>

<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Times New Roman" color=#000000 size=3>You only have to unzip the file and copy the J9 folder to the root of the PDA. The file system must look like this:</FONT></DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Times New Roman" color=#000000 size=3>\Windows</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Times New Roman" color=#000000 size=3>\J9\...</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Times New Roman" color=#000000 size=3>\My Documents\..</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Times New Roman" color=#000000 size=3>(etc)</FONT></DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Times New Roman" color=#000000 size=3>IBM J9 is not free. For professional use, a license must be bought (about $20 per final user, I think)</FONT></DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Times New Roman" color=#000000 size=3>- Delete this file (from your PC since the PDA file browser will hide it):</FONT></DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Times New Roman" color=#000000 size=3>\J9\PPRO11\bin\j9jit23.dll</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Times New Roman" color=#000000 size=3></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Times New Roman" color=#000000 size=3>- Download and execute this installer in your PDA (gvSIG Mobile 0.3 for J9):</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Times New Roman" color=#000000 size=3></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Times New Roman" color=#000000 size=3><A href="ftp://downloads.gvsig.org/pub/gvSIG-mobile/devel/piloto-0_3/piloto-0_3_0/275/gvSIGMobile-0.3.0-build_275-WMX-forJ9.cab">ftp://downloads.gvsig.org/pub/gvSIG-mobile/devel/piloto-0_3/piloto-0_3_0/275/gvSIGMobile-0.3.0-build_275-WMX-forJ9.cab</A></FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Times New Roman" color=#000000 size=3></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Times New Roman" color=#000000 size=3>- Now find out which port number you should use (Settings - system - External GPS - Software) and try it in gvSIG Mobile.</FONT></DIV>
