<DIV><FONT face="Times New Roman" color=#000000 size=3>Hello,</FONT></DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Yes I meant editing the appsettings.xml file in your PC and copying it again to the device, but I don't think that bad line in the appsettings.xml file is causing much trouble anyway.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I believe you are facing the 'TTF hack' issue: Trimble has replaced the original TTF (font) files that came with Windows Mobile, and now some <font-style>, <font-size> combinations are not available for third-party applications such as JME-CDC applications (e.g. gvSIG Mobile).</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Even if we copied our favorite TTF files to the device, I don't know how to tell the JVM to use them instead of the default TTF that have been hacked by Trimble, so the only solution to this is to change the source code so that only those fonts preserved by Trimble are used in the GUI. Some time ago we created an unofficial version of gvSIG Mobile 0.3 where we had changed the font styles to skip this problem. You can download the installer from:</DIV>

<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>You have to rename it to:</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>gmobile_0.3_j9_test_stringa_3.cab</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I had to rename it because our web server will not deliver CAB files. Should be used on J9 only. Let me know if it works on your device.</DIV>
