Since gvSIG Mobile is GPL software, you would be forced to provide the source code of a customized version of gvSIG Mobile that would do that.
Hi Juan and Simon,

Thanks for the replies, actually i miss-used the correct wording, it is not
confidentiality issue but I want to protect the ownership of the data.

I need to protect the layers from being copied and distributed by un
authorized person to be opened on aother pocket PC or desktop or another GIS
tool. I want to use gvSIG mobile to open these layers using something like a
license code, then if the data is coped, it cannot be used.

Thanks

--
View this message in context: http://osgeo-org.1803224.n2.nabble.com/Data-Encryption-gvSIG-Mobile-tp5793646p5797598.html
Sent from the gvSIG international mailing list archive at Nabble.com.
_______________________________________________
Gvsig_internacional mailing list
Gvsig_internacional@listserv.gva.es
http://listserv.gva.es/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/gvsig_internacional
