And, me again. I've probably not finally tested everything on IBM J9
- the same problem appears while using the dropdown button in WM6.
so of course, it is a JVM (J9) problem - phoneme does not produce
the error. Even using the "...forJ9"-version with phoneme works
fine.

BTW, in fact, the coordinates are not displayed until i close the
drop down menu! and even when they are displayed, they won't be
updated - until i open AND close the dropdown menu again.
And additionally, it is the same with the MEASURES_BAR...while
viewing coordinates. They are only displayed and updated after
open/close of the drop down menu.

Obviously, as the statusbar worked before adding anything to the
code, it is my fault. But I don't understand, why phoneme does not
reproduce the error.

After changing from combo to normal menu, the error still exists.
I'll test everything right from the beginning...and hope to find the
error.

If anybody has got an idea, I would appreciate it for saving time :)
of the drop down which I added to the gpsbar. but why is it shown

well, I've looked at my pictures again. I did not have much time
while testing as it is not my own device. So I checked them
again and it seem to be a problem of the dropdown button. The
downloaded (not changed) version it works fine :) however, with
phoneme the problem does not exist...

ok, thanks for the comments,

I tested it on an Sasung Omnia GT-B7610 yesterday, and I've
tested both, J9 and PhoneME...of course, I have deleted the
dll, as I have read the information before ;) but however,
the statusbar was not shown and the coordinates were shown
above the toolbar...a bit strange. In addition, some visual
aspects changed, like white and black are replaed by each
other, I think.

With phoneme, the statusbar was shown correctly. but the
layername was not shown in ToC (so it cannot be deleted,
only disabled) - in phoneME I have used the current version,
placed the folder in device directory and installed gvsig
mobile and before starting, started config.exe, right?
Well, I've got many dll-requests which I had to confirm
before it would continue...but I think, the request does not
come twice?

About GPS, I'll test perhaps later, but that's ice to know,
that it should work with assigning a serial port to it.
