<html><head></head><body bgcolor='#FFFFFF' style='font-size:12px;background-color:#FFFFFF;font-family:Verdana, Arial, sans-serif;'>Hi,<br/>I have a DEM in the following projection:<br/><i>Projected coordinate system name: </i>Bessel_1841_Transverse_Mercator<i>, Geographic coordinate system name: </i>GCS_Bessel_1841 (that's what ArcGIS says).<br/><br/>When I load this file into a new view with the projection ESRI 4004 GCS_Bessel_1841 I get a warning message, that the projection of the file differs from the one of the view.<br/>When I click ok to the option "Reproject raster to view projection" everything crashes, when I say "change view projection to raster projection" the DEM is loaded but the projection of both the DEM and the view is:<br/>PROJCS "unnamed<br/> GEOGCS "Unknown datum based upon the Bessel 1841 ellipsoid"<br/> DATUM "Not_specified_based_on_Bessel_1841_ellipsoid"<br/> PROJECTION "Transverse_Mercator"<br/><br/>I don't understand where and why gvSIG has a problem with this and most important, how can I fix this?<br/>I tried to reproject the DEM but here again it crashes.<br/>Can anyone please help me?<br/><br/>Thea <br><br><table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0"><tr><td bgcolor="#000000"><img src="https://img.ui-portal.de/p.gif" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" /></td></tr><tr><td style="font-family:verdana; font-size:12px; line-height:17px;">Schon gehört?
