I am a new user, learning on the job, and I’m having a few problems.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>I have new layers from shapefiles exported from a GPS; I can open the data, manipulate it (move, copy etc) but cannot do anything more fundamental to it.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>For instance, I want to split polylines but the Split Geometries tool remains permanently greyed out.
