just checked the invisible raster.<br>
So, I do have two tiffs and two WMS (which are in a way raster, too). Only if all four of them are visible sextante will start.<br>
After the first successful start it does not matter whether the raster
or the wms are visible or not. It's just for the first time.<br>
<br>So I tested one of those tiffs in a new project, in a new view. <br>After
saving the project with the tiff invisible and re-opening it sextante
failed. Check the check box and sextante will start.<br>

It seems you are on the right track.<br>

Problems with opening Sextante only occur with "some" existing projects but<br>
I could not figure out any "error pattern" at all.<br>
No problems with "freshly" created and saved projects.<br>

Could corrupted project files cause this error - and only this one as I can<br>
work on these projects without problems except using sextante?<br>
