<DIV><FONT color=#000000 size=3 face="Times New Roman">Hello, the file "x" exists from the start. If there are no other text files, it means that the Java application failed to start or crashed in the very early stages.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>The message "Class not found" means that the JVM was unable to find one of the .class files. This might be caused by one of these issues:</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>- Perhaps your build.xml file is not packaging the .class files properly, so the resulting "boot.jar" or "all.jar" do not contain all the necessary ".class" files.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>- Perhaps your workspace was compiled with a Java level higher than 1.4 (this can be set in the "Window > Preferences > Java > Compiler" menu. The "Java Compliance level" must be set to 1.4. After setting it to 1.4, clean and rebuild the entire workspace and create again the CAB installer. If the JAR file has level 1.5 or higher, then the JVM simply ignores it, which might cause the "class not found" message.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>- Perhaps your JAR files are ok but the classpath parameter is not properly set when you start the application, so they are not found.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>JAR files can be unpacked in your PC as if they were ZIP files, so it should be easy to find out if there is a missing .class file.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Also, you can send me one of your CAB files so maybe I can have a look at it.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
