<br><tt><font size=2>Dear list,<br>
I am running gvSIG 1.11 with jre 1.6.20 and recently added the networking<br>
extension. <br>
The installation procedure went smoothly, and according to previous postings<br>
it should be fine to use jre 1.6 version instead of 1.5, as requested by
the<br>
installer.<br>
The networking menu shows up in gvSIGs menu bar, but after selecting a
line<br>
layer and choosing "create network" from the menu the application
just<br>
freezes. <br>
<br>
Starting gvSIG from the command line shows that a NullPointerException<br>
occurs after selecting the<br>
"create network" menu entry:<br>
<br>
java.lang.NullPointerException<br>
at sun.awt.image.URLImageSource.getConnection(Unknown
Source)<br>
at sun.awt.image.URLImageSource.getDecoder(Unknown
Source)<br>
at sun.awt.image.InputStreamImageSource.doFetch(Unknown
Source)<br>
at sun.awt.image.ImageFetcher.fetchloop(Unknown
Source)<br>
at sun.awt.image.ImageFetcher.run(Unknown Source)<br>
<br>
<br>
Looks like a file can't be found or a path is wrong.<br>
After that, the only way to proceed and terminate gvSIG is to kill the<br>
running java process<br>
Any help would be much appreciated, many thanks in advance.<br>
<br>
Best regards,<br>
Georg<br>
