the answer is yes. You can do it using SEXTANTE for gvSIG.<br>
Firstly, use "Rasterize vector layer" and then "Void filling" (spline<br>
interpolation) or, if you want, other interpolation techniques contained<br>
in the "Rasterization and interpolation" group of geoalgorithms.<br>
Finally, use the "Contour lines" tool in order to create the isolines.<br>
