Well, in fact I CAN tell you something about the Extensions method: I  
wouldn't use it, unless I really had a good reason to do so.

(Because of how classloaders work in Java, a class loaded from an  
Extensions directory won't be able to load classes (nor resources?)  
from the ClassPath. So you could find some surprising and difficult  
to diagnose problems... )
