Hi,
I also tried gvSIG with Sextante before I moved to SAGA. The problem was, that I was not able to get grids in normal colors and other problem is also the "memory hunger" of gvSIG with Sextante. The result was always grid in grayscale. I loaded some grid from SAGA but the bmp grids are displayed with some strange colors (it looks like gvSIG loads them as multispectral images), the only working solution is to save SAGA grids to png and then load them into gvSIG.

Someone mentioned here Kosmo and Openjump. I must also confess that it is a big dilemma for me to choose the right program. Recently we approved SAGA for use in our institute, but some replacement for Mapinfo would be great.
