[Gvsig_english] workaround to split lines?

Hi list,
just a short question: does anybody know how to split a line in gvSIG? 

(Attribute x)            (Attribute x1)      (Attribute x2)
-----------------    -->      -------------     +        -----

There's no option within the digitzing module, but I think, this problem comes 
up quite frequently.... Is it possible to solve this somehow?
