[Gvsig_english] wish: (extended) field statistics

Hi Alvaro,
thanks for your answer. I think that a function to add area+perimeter 
information is really important. Is it possible to say, when this function 
will be implemented (--> release plan? Already for 1.0.2?)? Or is there an 
alternative way to get this information into the attribute table of my 
shapefile (it is possible to do this in grass, but I will have to import the 
data into grass-format)...
