Hola Juan Lucas,
Muchas gracias,
Carlos Galceran

Hello, Carlos.
In order to find out what happened, it would be very useful to let us see the file:
C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\gvSIG\gvSIG.log
generated after an unsuccessful gvSIG session.
gvSIG always appears as "javaw.exe" in the process list. In your screenshot, it takes up 51% of the CPU time, not 51% of the used memory, though 177 MBytes is a bit more than it uses on my machine at the start.

Asunto: [Gvsig_english] gvSIG installation over Chinese Windows OS
Hello Everybody,
I am currently teaching a GIS class to a group of international students and among them there is one that runs Windows (Chinese language) OS on her laptop. We have tried several times to install gvSIG (english version) without success. The program apparently installs at first glance, but then when we click on the "View" icon in the Project manager window, there is an error (see image "After clicking button VIEW"). From there everything goes wrong with the program failing to close properly (see other images attached).
Has anyone come across something like this?
Cheers,
Carlos Galceran
