[Gvsig_english] wish: possiblity to show only filtered data

Hi Wolfgang,

what you say is something that can be done following few steps. You just 
select what you want, and then export it to a new layer. To export the 
entire layer just clear selection. After exporting you are asked about 
to add the new layer to the view.

Doing at your way may be kind of confusing. Features appearing from the 
nothing or suddently dissappearing since you cannot see everything in 
the layer. I could imagine that this would be useful to show layers that 
are not supposed to be edited/analyzed but just viewed. Then I still 
agree with myself (;-)) that the export option is the best.

I'm just wondering what your purposes are...
