[Gvsig_english] strange error when trying to load a raster dataset

Hi list,
when trying to open a asc-rasterfile, a strange error message appears. It's especially strange, as it is working sometimes and sometimes not (on different machines using the same linux-image).
I am using gvsig version 1.1 and sextante version sextante_v049.jar.
Any ideas are really appreciated!
