[Gvsig_english] how to perform a calculation of a field

The expression you are using is looking for existing rows in the column
"road_type" with the attribute "Highway", and when there are none it
returns 0.
What you want to do is simpler. You don't need an expression. Just type
"Highway" in the field calculator.
