[Gvsig_english] Problem Installing gvSIG in Ubuntu 8.04 LTS 64bits

I'm have installed Ubuntu 8.04 LTS 64bits on my personal computer and I'm
now installing the programs.

One of the first programs I tried to install was gvSIG 1.1.1, but with no
luck...

1 - I copied the "gvSIG-1_1_1-linux-i586-withjre.bin" file to a folder in my
home directory

Gave changed the permissions with the command:

 2 - "chmod +x gvSIG-1_1_1-linux-i586-withjre.bin"

And executed the BIN file with:

3 - "./gvSIG-1_1_1-linux-i586-withjre.bin"

the result was something like this:

Launching instalation program....
./gvSIG-1_1_1-linux-i586-withjre.bin: 12: ./launcher-Linux: not found

./gvSIG-1_1_1-linux-i586-withjre.bin: 28: ./launcher-Linux: not found

I tried to install JRE before installing gvSIG and I got the same result.

If anyone could give me an hand I would apreciate.
