[Gvsig_english] Gvsig_internacional Digest, Vol 47, Issue 12

Hello,

I have tested transformation 1780 in gvSIG 1.9 and it works very much as in your screenshot. Video here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uO77sGgakE0

I get these errors:

0.23 m (near the Baltic Sea)
0.52 m
0.26 m
0.99 m
1.78 m
5.58 m (near Switzerland)

This was done on Windows XP.

Regards,

Hello, Heinz. Thanks for the screenshot, it's very illustrative.

I have found this little table showing the coordinates of a certain 'Trigonometrischer Punkt':

http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=86b14112-20d3-4950-8364-86f983f0484d

I have applied the GSB grid to that and the coordinates I obtained in EPSG:25832 are only 3 cm (0.03 m) away from the coordinates seen in that table, which is a reasonable error. Anybody knows if there is somewhere a larger table showing more official 'Trigonometrischer Punkt' like that one?

Tomorrow I'll test the 1780 transformation with gvSIG 1.9 and tell you what happens.

Regards,

Juan Lucas Domínguez Rubio
