Hello list:
If you have successfully executed gvSIG Mobile on a Trimble Juno PDA with Windows Mobile 6.1, please send a message telling which JVM and version of gvSIG Mobile it was.
If you have not been able to run it on that type of PDA, try these two tests:
TEST 1
- Download this file to your PC and unzip it (content is: a file called 'democlasses.jar' and a folder called 'phoneme'):
http://www.prodevelop.es/files/fm/public/downloads/phoneme_windows_mobile_6.zip
- Copy the file democlasses.jar to the folder 'My Documents' which is located in the root of the PDA file system. Copy the folder 'phoneme' to the root of the PDA.
The file system must look like this:
\Windows\...
\phoneme\...
\My Documents\democlasses.jar
(etc)
- In the PDA, click on the file \phoneme\personal\bin\phoneME
- A new application should now start. In it, click on the menu option "File - Open" and choose the file 'democlasses' which should be available in the initial file list.
- After a few seconds, you should see a new application window with some colourful shapes.
Did this work?
If not, where did you get stuck?
TEST 2
- Install the J9 VM: the link to download it can be found in this message:
http://listserv.gva.es/pipermail/gvsig_usuarios/2008-May/005083.html
You only have to unzip the file and copy the J9 folder to the root of the PDA. The file system must look like this:
\Windows
\J9\...
\My Documents\..
(etc)
- Delete this file (from your PC since the PDA file browser will hide it):
\J9\PPRO11\bin\j9jit23.dll
- Try the demo:
\J9\PPRO11\examples\GolfScoreTrackerApp
(click on the file with a purple icon)
- A new application should appear, with a simple window.
Did this work?
If not, where did you get stuck?

Juan Lucas Domínguez Rubio
