[Gvsig_english] next GvSIG mobile

Hi Thomas,

The problem seems to be just what I was talking about at the previous mail. 

No JVM is found by the application. 

The less at the SD-CARD because first of all the SD_CARD path have to be named like that to be founded. In your case or it don't be founded or your CARD has another name path.

It is difficult know what exactly are happening from here, but I think is the path were the JVM are installed on your device.

You must assure if they are installed at the next path names:

I you have installed J9 (I recommend you), it must be the JVM launcher at \MyDevice\J9\PPRO11\BIN\J9W.exe

Or If it's at SD_CARD it have to be placed at   \MyDevice\SD Card\J9\PPRO11\bin\j9w.exe 

If it's PhoneMe Advanced the installed one (worst program performance), The app look at \MyDevice\phoneme\personal\bin\cvm.exe

Or if it's on SD CARD at \MyDevice\SD CARD\phoneme\personal\bin\cvm.exe 

Try to turn off Bluetooth and the Bluetooth path support, and reinstalling the "gvSIG Mobile for J9" (better than the others I you have J9).

Another possibility is that your device needs permissions to execute the JVM by WM6.1

I installed all at the root. I've taken the 0.2 version from ftp. So I send you the logs files needed.

Hi Toma,

Where did you install gvSIG Mobile, maybe on SD-CARD?
Sometimes the running process fail when the program is installed on SD-CARD and the Operating System is Windows Mobile 6.1, the reason is the Bluetooth, which is shown as another disk unit. You can try installing on Device at the root path, both of them, also the JVM. Sometimes it works and the running process finds the right path.
Also, if it's not, it will be a good thing if you send us the .log files, with the program fails. You can found them at:
-/gvSIG_Mobile_exe_is_alive
-/gvSIGMobile/g_mobile_launch_log
-/gvSIGMobile/log/*

These logs are generated by the gvSIG Mobile v0.2 from the Ftp. I recommend you install this version.

Hello and thanks for your answer,

I'm testing the installation of gvsig mobile today, but i am blocked;

I've tried, first version BN44 from gvsig web site, with J9VM. Result :
problem with javaw.exe

I've tried others versions from ftp (yours, next time), with or for JVM or
PhonemeAdvance. Results : gvsig seems to run but nothing appears (only first
scrennshot).

I am using Trimble Juno SB, runing on windows mobile 6.1.
