Dear,
After reading your mail, I got the gvsig upgraded to 1.1.2. But a new problem occured. I am now unable to open a new view. It is giving an error message as attached. I am also attaching the log as directed by you.
Further regarding adding image layer thru ecwp protocol, the log may contain the required information.
Thanks
Jagadeesh
PS: I have registered in the mailing list of gvsig.

Subject: Re: Unable to add ecw throuh ecwp protocol
Dear Jagadeesh,
we'd need more details about the error. There's a gvSIG.log file in
/home/$USER/gvSIG/ on Linux, or c:\Documments and settings\[user]\gvSIG.
After the error you have to close gvSIG and gvSIG.log is updated.
Check the date of the file to see if it's the updated file.
It'd be interesting that you send the .log file to the international
list, telling the version of gvSIG and operating system you are using.
You can register first from
http://runas.cap.gva.es/mailman/listinfo/gvsig_internacional.
Best regards,
gvSIG Team

The attachment has the details of steps followed and the error message. Pls let me know the way to overcome. I like to mention here that the service which I am accessing ia password protected. It asked for login /password at first instance and later attempts it did
