I think I have one answer. To display the GPS location on the map there is a
button with a flag 'habilitar puntero GPS' but if I click it I get another
java error (null point exception gpsPointrExtension.LocationChangedEvent) so
I can't tell if this is the right tool. Still not sure if the map pans when
traveling.

I'm running the OA digital version side by side with gvSIG and I suspect
this might be causing the java errors. Will try a reinstall and see what
happens.
