dear Jorge and all gvsig users,

goodday!
i use postgis as my main GIS data format. i encountered the following
problems of lost connection when performing the following tasks:
(a) i add in a postgis data layer, then, select using "locate by
attribute", then remove the layer. when add in again error
message "data layer already exist".
(b) add and remove layers for multiple times, add in again error
message of "data layer already exist".
after that message, there is no way to connect the database using
login and password, except close gvsig and reconnect again. the
postgres 8.2 and 8.3 with postgis 1.2.1-1 and 1.3.5-1 are all tested;
same problem encountered.

it happen particularly on the data layers with greater than 10000
records. is there any limits of layer size stored inside postgis
database? any other possible reasons of postgis lost connection?
anyway to overcome the problem?

appreciate, 10s. :-)

regards, bongtk
