[Gvsig_english] join tables::many to one relationship

Dear list,
I am a little bit irritated about the join-table function of gvSIG. 
Does the joinfunction of gvSIG only allow to perform 1:1 relationships? Is M:1 
(many to one) not supported? If not: are there plans to realize this feature?
M:1 would be extremely important for me. Unfortunately, the english handbook 
does not say anything on this detail.
I would be _most_ grateful, if someone could send me a short answer on this.
