Dear list,
a short question on attribute tables: is it recommended to use Open
Office Calc to edit attribute tables of shapefiles? For example,
I would like to remove decimal places of some columns - Calc allows the
user to edit the field properties by changing the values of the
values in the first line (example: a column has a definiton for
numerical values with a length of 18 and 6 decimal places:
name_column,N,18,6 --> name_column,N,18,0 in order to get rid of the
decimals...).
Any comments are welcome.
Best,
Wolfgang
