[Gvsig_english] gvsig in ubuntu

Hello,

FYI

We've talking about this issue, and it's not that simple. JAI has some dependencies in the printing functionalities, as well as libProjection. Some work has been done to split libProjection into an API and an stub implementation that avoid crashes when libJCRS is not available, but it's in the 2.0 scope.

So, until 2.0 version, JAI dependencies will remain in gvSIG. Furthermore, being in ubuntu repositories it's not only a question of JAI. The working group Fran mentioned is addressing that, but it won't be available before 2.0.

Regards,

Miguel Montesinos
