Asunto: [Gvsig_english] Strange beahavior Field Calculator on Ubuntu and XP

Hi.

I have a strange behavior of the field calculator:

I am trying to use the perimeter() command to get the length of a
digitized line in gvSIG.
I have installed gvSIG 1.9(Build 1253) on three different computers, two
times ubuntu and one time windows xp.
At one ubuntu(Version 9.10) installion the perimeter command appears in
the appropriate field and i can use the command without any problem.
But at the one ubuntu (Version 2.10) and xp installations the command
does not appaear and also typing it in the command field does not work
or rather gives me an error message. Using the command in gvSIG 1.1.2 on
all three computers the command works fine.

Anyone an idea how to handle this?

Thanks a lot for any suggestion to solve this,

Toni
