[Gvsig_english] Feature request: editing geometry and attributes

Dear list,
so far, graphical editing tools of gvSIG are really nice. However, one
aspect regarding connected attribute data could be improved.
Currently, copying and splitting a geometry will result in a duplicated
record in the attribute table. In some cases, this behaviour does make
sense.
If you are only interested in the geometry itself, this can be confusing
(what is the original record???). It would be great,
if the behaviour of gvSIG while editing geometries could be defined. A
well-known old propr. GIS does provide this functionality. ;)

What do you think about this?
Best,
Wolfgang
