Hello,

About the kml, this message is normal and it's shown in every kml you 
load, just to inform the user. But the fact that the layer is not 
displayed is a problem. You can open the associated table and check if 
it really exists any geometries. If yes, maybe it's a problem related 
with projection or kml version.

About Windows7, remember that this is not an official O.S. tested by the 
gvSIG team, so it could be problems. Nevertheless, it has been released 
a non-official version of gvSIG 1.9 portable that works in Windows7 and 
Vista. You can download and try it here:
