Jan,
look at this link
http://www.gvsig.org/web/projects/gvsig-desktop/official/extensions/ as
there is already an extension that connects gvSIG to ArcSde. It is
integrated starting at version 1.9 but you need to make sure to have these
prerequisites to make it work
http://www.gvsig.org/web/projects/gvsig-desktop/official/gvsig-1.9/previous-
requirements
Apparently some folks was complaining that the connectivity is kind of slow
for large datasets but it definitively works.
Also the OA Digital version has the complete ArcSde extension and
prerequisites included in their distribution ;)

Good Luck

Subject: [Gvsig_english] gvSIG and cConnectivity to SDE
Hello,
I have a question regarding possibility of connectivity of gvSIG to SDE. As
the current gvSIG has possibility of connectivity to Oracle databases, is
there any workaround to connect to SDE?
And if not, does anyone have any experience with this functionality, or is
capable to program it?
Thank you very much for your replies.
Jan
