[Gvsig_english] Calculate area and length in Gvsig mobile

[p.geoinfo]

hi,

i am using gvsig mobile to measure the agricultural plot and the length of
some structures etc.
how will i get the length of line and area of polygon instantly.
one way is using measure line tool manually on screen. 
but it fails when drawn line is complex..

is there any solution for this?
also what is the solution for labeling (simple development or waiting for 
release of new version )
