Hi Juan and list,

I did follow the procedure Juan told me below and yes I did yes I did get
the cash again trying to reproject in gvSIG from EPSG:32611 to 3718. I
attached the only log file I got. I reproject my source image again to EPSG
32611 to make sure it is correct projection in gdal. In case you want to
test with my tiff file I uploaded it to
<http://www.terragis.net/docs/other/globalwarming_tiff.zip>
<http://www.terragis.net/docs/other/tmax_monthly_avg_32611.zip>
http://www.terragis.net/docs/other/tmax_monthly_avg_32611.zip

Thanks for you help

Hello, Karsten.

In the ZIP file you have provided there is a TIF file in EPSG:4326. I have
reprojected it to EPSG:32611 using Gdal and then reprojected it using gvSIG
to EPSG:3718 (as in your screenshot, not EPSG:3118 as in your message text).

Try these steps:

- remove all log files the match this pattern from your user folder:

{user}\gvSIG\*log*

- start gvSIG and try to perform the reprojection until gvSIG crashes
- send the new {user}\gvSIG\*log* files to the list in a ZIP file.

Hi,
I just installed gvSIG 1.10 rc2 and installed - worked great. Keep up the
good work

Currently I am working to recreate a map related to global warming I did
previously in ArcGIS to use as an sample what gvSIG can do in an upcoming
gvSIG class I will be teaching. When I load a raster image (specs see below
or download here:
<http://www.terragis.net/docs/other/globalwarming_tiff.zip>
http://www.terragis.net/docs/other/globalwarming_tiff.zip to test). The
image is in EPSG 32611 projection :
 # WGS 84 / UTM zone 11N <32611> +proj=utm +zone=11 +ellps=WGS84
+datum=WGS84 +units=m +no_defs  no_defs <>
I tried to reproject to EPSG 3118 (see screenshot
<http://www.terragis.net/docs/other/export_settings.gif>
http://www.terragis.net/docs/other/export_settings.gif ) - when I click on
ok to start the operation I will be promoted to enter a file name , after
entering the new raster name gvSIG crashes (closes) without any error
message :(

Note that I did run into the same error with gvSIG 1.9 and also with the
OADigital 2010 distribution.
Any ideas what is wrong ?

Cheers
Karsten
