[Gvsig_english] gvSIG Mini for Android 1.0.0 released

Hi Henry,

Are you sure gvSIG Mini is still consuming battery while is in the background? I guess the battery life menu on Android shows the battery life usage of applications since the OS start up, not the current usage of the battery...

When gvSIG Mini Map activity is paused (is in the background) GPS and orientation sensor are stopped. For example, if you are on the Map activity and press the home button you'll see that the GPS icon on the notification bar disappears. So when in background it would not consume any battery... This happens since version 1.0.0 of gvSIG Mini, earlier versions did not disable GPS and background operations.

Apart from this, for sure there's room to improve the battery life consumption of gvSIG Mini while running :)

Regards,

Alberto Romeu
