[Gvsig_english] Edit field from selected function?

Yes. If you manage to select all records that
you want to set to one and the same text value,
then you can:

1. Select the field which is to hold that value.
2. Start the field calculator ("Expression") on it.
3. Simply write the text value you wish to put
into the field into the expression editor.
But don't forget to put the string in quotes (").

Et voila: all selected records will have the new
text value in the field you selected.
