Hello, after you learn the basics of Java and get a bit familiar with Eclipse, you can follow these steps to setup the working space (you also need the Subclipse plugin for Eclipse or some other SVN client):

i am fully new to java..

i want to customize the gvsig mbile (changing interface, introduce some
basic tools)..

can u help me to configure the source code?

right from beginning of installation of development software's/tools (just
needed software's and configuration steps)
