Hi,

gvSIG Mini should automatically save the state every time the Map 
activity is closed.

You can take a look to /sdcard/gvSIG/config/mapstate.txt, this is an 
example.

zoom=16
layer=OPEN STREET MAP
x=-41696.39892799572
y=4790299.007812984

You can modify it to load your own layer, zoom and center x, y.
