Hello,
I don't think this issue (exactly) was commented in a previous message.
Can you send me one of those shapefiles so I can test it myself?
Regards,
Juan Lucas Domínguez Rubio

Asunto: [Gvsig_english] Problems when exporting a shapefile to Oracle
Dear list,
I noticed a very strange behaviour when exporting geometries to an
oracle database.
The source dataset contains some features which were generated _in
ArcView_ using the buffer command. This geometry contains some "holes".
After exporting the dataset to the oracle database, the holes
disappeared. I remembered a former post from me. The order of the
vertices is different before and after exporting. This seems to cause
the dissapearing holes. Any ideas what went wrong? I could also notice
that this effect did not happen with a file that was originally created
in gvSIG. Is it a bug in gvSIG? Any ideas are appreciated very much.
Best,
Wolfgang
