Hi Ruth,

Very interesting bundle. I hope to see all these imported into the gvSIG
and gvSIG-CE websites -- the videos especially are an exceptional
resource. The latter would be good on YouTube under a specific gvSIG
channel.

A few points though...

1. The package should make it clear that the web pages and bundled
software are Windows-specific.
     (a) the internal links in the main index.html webpage are
lowercase, yet the pages they link to have variable capitalisation -- on
a UNIX/Linux system this does not work.
     (b) Only the Windows EXE file is provided. A newbie on Ubuntu would
have real problems if they tried to
run the install file provided. You can't assume that everyone
will be using Windows nowadays. The webpage should point to installation
on a number of common
           platforms (Windows, Linux, Mac)

2. It is unclear under what license all the material is released. The
main "contact / licence" page states that the license is CC-BY-SA but...
     (a) does not clarify what version of CC-BY-SA; is it version 2 or
3, ported or unported, etc. The licence needs to be clear and the a link
provided to the main deed.
     (b) the copyright is ambiguous for some documents. The installation
and uninstall guide have copyright notices on them, and it is
unclear whether the GTZ manual is meant to be distributed to
the broader public.

I also noted you bundled the document
"gvSIG-GIS_desktop_solution_for_open_SDI.pdf" with the package -- was
this ever published?

Considering recent events, can we expect to see future additions of this
package include the gvSIG-CE package rather than the parent package gvSIG?

Cheers Simon
